Dylan and I traveled back to the Upper Peninsula a few weekends ago to photograph Nora and Jared’s wedding in the north woods. And when I say “in the north woods,” I very much mean in the north woods–we had to drive for miles on a logging road just to get to where the wedding…
Dylan and I went up North for Memorial Day (aka The Berger Annual Cribbage Tournament at the Candlelite Motel – Powers, MI) Besides playing cribbage, we also watched the annual ceremony in the cemetery, saw a parade and ate a chicken dinner at the VFW hall.
Over Memorial Day I visited my Dad’s family in the U.P. (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) It’s been a long tradition for them to get together this weekend every year. We played cribbage, got sunburned, watched a parade and ate a chicken dinner together
