Portrait of a Photographer: Andrea in Joshua Tree

Dylan and I flew to Los Angeles in February to visit friends of ours before traveling on to Las Vegas for the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention. We stayed with our good friend Andrea, who I met years ago when I lived in Los Angeles and have become ever closer to in the years since. (Check out her food, lifestyle and travel photography at  www.andreabricco.com. She is really talented.) One of the highlights of the trip was driving to Joshua Tree to take photographs, where the three of us possibly took more pictures of each other than we did of the trees. It’s sometimes fun to be on the other side.

I’m still looking forward to getting the film developed, (and to seeing some of Andrea and Dylan’s photos – maybe we can make a collage) but in the meantime, I thought I’d share some of my favorite digital shots.
